I have cared for 18 this year, so far. Flooding this year lead me to rescue 15 babies. Hard to let go once you get started. I would be easy to keep them and ensure no harm comes to them, but they would not be free. Even it is hard to let them go. Nature requires it.

I have lived in Denton for the past 30 years and had no idea about his Gallery. My Aunt told me she had just watched this on TV. They are coming to visit in three weeks and she wants to go to John’s gallery and bar. I can’t wait to take her.

I am SO ruing the day when you two great reporters are no longer in my TCR video addiction.

It would be nice if they'd put a statue up for a great ancestral descendant of mine, Don Carlos de la Garza. Just like the angel of la Bahia. He saved several lives, if it wasn't for his request to spare several of these men, many more men would have died. It's well known, and in several historical texts that include Hobart Huson's "History of Refugio." He's legend amongst many of the people and his efforts are still given gratitude by many of the surviving members families. All you have to do is look him up on the internet. It's a pity he's not recognized for this heroic effort on his part...

I used to see this in elementary school growing up. There was a gentleman that would perform with these every year and that was back in the early sixties. I could never figure out how to work them without getting the strings all in knots.😂 I would love to see a performance of these some time.
